The EBRD's Office of the Chief Compliance Officer promotes good governance and
ensures that the highest standards of integrity are applied to all activities
of the Bank in accordance with international best practice. In particular, it
deals with conflicts of interest, corruption, confidentiality and money
laundering. The Office is responsible for procedures governing the ethical
behaviour of Bank officials, employees and consultants, and it conducts
investigations on alleged staff misconduct. It also sets the standards of
integrity that the Bank expects of its business partners.
