Alain Pilloux, Business Group Director, Russia, Agribusiness and Property & Tourism

Alain Pilloux joined the EBRD on 1 June 1992 and is currently Business Group Director for Russia, Agribusiness and Property & Tourism.

Mr Pilloux joined the EBRD as Senior Project Manager in June 1992 after working at the Inspection Générale des Finances in Paris from 1987 to 1992.  He became successively Senior Banker (January 1994), Deputy Director for Poland (July 1995), Director for Poland (January 1996), Director for Poland, the Czech & Slovak Republics and the Baltic States (January 1998), Business Group Director for Central Europe (July 1999), Business Group Director for Central Europe and Specialised Industries (July 2003), and Business Group Director for Russia, Central Europe and Specialised Industries (April 2006).

Mr Pilloux holds various Supervisory Board and Investment Committee memberships in investee companies.

He is an alumnus of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (1979-1982), the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (1984), and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (1985-1987).
