The TAM programme is growing, and there is a continuous need to expand its
pool of highly motivated senior industrial advisors (SIAs) who enjoy the
challenge and satisfaction of sharing their expertise with the management of
companies learning to survive in the new market oriented economies of Eastern
Europe. To qualify as an SIA with the TAM programme you must fit the following
profile.
Mandatory criteria

Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Minimum 15 years "hands-on" experience as a senior operating manager of a
related and comparable sized business.

Must have worked in multicultural environments.

Must have experience in working with multinational teams.

Willing and fit to travel regularly in central and eastern Europe.

Minimum age of 50 to qualify.
Personal attributes required

Able to make a positive first impression.

Able to communicate effectively and lucidly, both in writing and orally.

Able to understand the challenges of transition.
-
Able to work diplomatically in ambiguous situations.
-
Aware of the limitations of local translators/interpreters sensitive to
cultural and linguistic differences.

Willing to work effectively in a small team of equals.
-
Temperamentally suited to working in changing environments.

In touch with world-wide industry trends and markets within the area of their
particular experience
