Donor funds mobilise investment capital and expertise in the EBRD’s countries
of operations by giving local business access to consultant experts. The
consultants help prepare projects and strengthen local management know-how.
They also develop environmental strategies and work to improve the legal
framework which business operate in. Donor programmes are funded by
governments and international institutions, and are managed by the EBRD.
