Project description
and objectives:

The proposed project is intended to finance completion of the M5 Motorway (the remaining 47 km from Kiskunfelegyhaza to Szeged near the Serbian border) as contemplated in the original tender and to consolidate and refinance debt of the existing M5 Phase I Motorway. The M5 Motorway will be based on Availability Payments under which the Hungarian Government will pay the concessionaire for providing it with an operational motorway according to pre-set performance criteria.
