Abstract

For the EBRD’s countries of operations, 2000 brought a recovery of investment, with the region experiencing positive economic growth. In helping the countries to achieve these successes, the Bank significantly increased its commitments in the region, signing projects to the value of €2.7 billion, and consolidated its return to profitability.
