Abstract

The EBRD gained a sharper focus and a new impetus in 1994. The year’s achievements culminated in a total value of signed projects (ECU 1.9 billion) in excess of the Bank’s target. Financial results were above expectations, showing profits both before and after provisions. A total of 91 projects were signed, nearly as many as in the first three years of the Bank’s operations.
