Information and communication technologies

Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) can help spur economic growth in transition countries. In May 2005 the EBRD, with support from donors, held a seminar on ICT policy reform and rural communication infrastructure. Senior policy makers from five transition countries, foreign regulators, practitioners and academics participated in the seminar. This publication compiles papers presented by various speakers at the event.
